Because of the recent database malfunction (which was entirely my fault) I figured I should post about how things are in terms of the backup process.
After the first reset of every day (Central Standard Time, Texas!) the servervault and database are backed up. I copy these backups to an external drive at least every night and morning. I keep all backups for the last two months and the last day of every month before that.
Anyhoo...point is: I'm very conscientious about players not losing things in case of snafus with the server.
The server will be down every morning from 8am to 9pm for back up and server updates this has to be done so the player's don't use gear or gold if a hacker get into our toon I back up on disk! The server will be down when there is bad weather. I will post it when it will be down so check the fourm!
(NOTE) Server will be down the end off 3/30=29/14 for 14 days and will be back up!
